How about The Stones. Although I am pretty sure Keith died three years ago he just doesn't know it yet.

Keith actually died in the 80's ... but scientists have kept him animated for 25 years ... also the stones lost their bset guitarist back in the early 70's ...

JPS >> How about Yes?

I knew there had to be somebody...

Even if KR wasn't still more alive than most of us Brian Jones is definately long gone
Keef just _looks_ like he's dead. :^)

Rumor has it that the Stones are gonna go out on yet another money harvest.

Any others?

I could be wrong, but on further review I think all the original members of Genesis are still around as well.

And Deep Purple. Glover doesn't play his Ric anymore but he's still around, as are the rest of the original lineup.

Rod Evans - vocals
Nicky Simper - bass guitar
Ritchie Blackmore - guitar
Jon Lord - keyboard
Ian Paice - drums

I thought I would revive this thread. Today I bought a MOJO special edition magazine when I was at Borders. It features Pink Floyd. It is loaded with interveiws and stories of the band and different songs. Don't forget your reading glasses because it is definitely a seeing eye chart. Well to get to the point earlier in this thread Jeff had stated: "Floyd is rumoured to be doing limited touring next year with the Gilmour, Waters, Wright, Mason lineup...". Here are a few quotes of Roger Waters: Q-"Do you anticipate a thaw between you and Pink Floyd in the future?" A-"What do you mean between me and Dave? I can't think why. I don't miss him, put it that way. I think we're both quite truculent individuals, and I don't think that's going to change." He did not like The Division Bell or A Momentary Lapse Of Reason. Refering to the Division Bell he said "what a nerve to call that Pink Floyd. It was an awful record." He was angered and refer to those fans who liked these albums as "the Great Unwashed" because "they could't tell the f---ing difference." He stated by the time of the Div Bell "...it had got totally Spinal Tap..."
All and all after reading this I believe the original line up, less Syd of course, is just wishfull thinking. I will just keep wishing for now.

I'm a Floyd fan, but a reunion just might suck. You can't re-heat a soufflé, you know.
