Beautiful tone. Sounds just like my FL with just the toaster p/u...

Great tone. I see binding on the body but not on the neck, so my guess is 4001 JG with a changed fingerboard.

It's got Non Wavy Grovers too, so I think very early 72 or before. I suppose if it's a 73 film, it's got to be that really

GREAT tone, but that bassline is way too busy, IMO. It sticks out in an annoying way.

Fabulous bass tone and great musicianship IMO. The bass player really moved that song along. It's too bad he did not get anywhere near as much exposure in the video as the rest of the band. I think his contribution was the highlight of the song.

That's why I didn't bother to make the vid display here. If you blinked, you missed him. I also think he was the best part of the song.

For those who watch the vid looking for the FL, it shows up at about 2:36 for a few seconds.

That long, eh? At least we could hear it throughout the song. 8) Does not sound very uprightish to me, though. I have yet to hear an electric bass that comes close enough.

I agree with Jeff, Have thought of getting a Ric fretless from time to time and have played several over the last few years, but just dont care for the Ric fretless, it dont appeal to me although I do like fretless and own a fretless that my daughters bought me for Christmas back in 2000, but the Ric just dont do iot for me..
