Jared, congrats, that's a beauty. The maple on your bass is much more figured than on my 4004Cii5.
I think all of the 4004Cii basses produced recently have have finished fingerboards.
I've been wondering if the headwings on my 4004Cii5 are walnut. Maybe walnut varies a bit in color, but the headwings of my look quite a bit lighter than the wanut headwings of other RIC basses that I've seen.
