Go get 'em, Tiger! I'm off the boards now for 6 months or so and I miss it already. Guess I'm just an applause junkie.
enough, already.

We should have an area on the forum to pimp our bands, I know if one of the forum members was playing out in my area, I might be very tempted to come out and see that! Good luck, Tim!

Brian,
Nice to see the bass in action once again. I miss it already....(sniff). It's cool that your wife is musical too! Must make it a little easier to explain why you NEED that new bass... Image

What's the extra control on the pickguard of your '74?

Jeffrey,

That extra control is for a bridge pickup that was installed when I first got the bass. In fact, this is the very first Bartolini bass pickup ever made (I met him at that time). He asked if he could install it on my bass as a way of trying it out. Back then, he referred to his pickups as "Hi-A" vs. having his name on them.

So, the control is for volume and there is a switch for running the pickup in or out of phase.

Regards,

Paul
