UGH...

I can't get away from it!

That 4004cii at Olivia's is my old one. Serial number verified. :(

I've been looking at that damn auction for a week now. :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

BUT, congrats Bert on a BEAUTIFUL BASS at a great price! :D

I must have missed yours Sam as I look quite frequently on the sales pages of the basschat forum. I've done some pretty good deals in the past there. Yours is 100 cheaper than the other BBR on sale there. Welcome over here BTW.

If you make it to 30 postings over here you can view and post in the sale section on this board also. Might be usefull. It certainly is usefull for you Rickenbacker knowledge to visit this board more. ;-)
Cheers Berth

Ideally I wanted to trade her for a FG model, but no takers as yet :(

Thanx. It was the Olivia add which made me look for 4004's at gbase. ;-) I had a BBR on order once but unfortunately the order was cancelled. Looks like I'm finally going to get one. :)

(Olivia is known to make deals off of ebay if you have a valid offer.)

Elderly's answer:

"This instrument is described as "Translucent Blue" finish. As this is a used instrument, it may not have any Warranty information, and any new manufacturer warranty will no longer apply."

Looks to me like there is no warranty card and they may have been looking on the Rickenbacker website.

Thanks Bert,

I appreciate the info.

I have to wait for a new 4004cii with the new neck profile. I just couldn't play my old one. I have some health issues where I NEED to have a thin neck. It's not just a WANT, otherwise I'd have kept mine.

I will be willing to trade either my minty MB 4003VP VC with HS or my 1988 V63 for a new one if anyone gets one and doesn't like it. ANY color except.....JETGLO.
