I emailed them about it. If they take my advice and price it accordingly I'm sunk.

Personally, I prefer that paler version of SG to the bolder 2000 official color. They all look great, but that refin is perfect 60's Fender cool...

Go get it JB!

POTR has the TV Yellow one posted. Not sure where the "TV" term came from, it's more like a printers process yellow. Yikes!

Yeah. Not TV Yellow.

Funny enough, my friend Richie (currently on the road with BOC) has a '73 4001s in that EXACT color! Like a HIGHLIGHTER.

I just Googled TV Yellow... It was done in the black and white TV era, white things overwhelmed early studio cameras, so hence, many things were painted with a special yellow finish to tone them down a notch.

Ok, I got one (huge surprise right? ). The "SG" Special Green is beautiful - much lighter than the original Sea Green.

Very close to my "Mint Green" Stingray, but a tad more subdued.

Many thanks to Chris at POTR!

Congrats!

I think I like it better than the Sea Green. Now, if only they'd put it on now with a "normal" headstock...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Very nice...the pics at POTR did not do it justice.
