4001 or 4000 SPC? 1961 bass got me confused!

I found this one mentioned on HA.com; they call it a 4001. Shouldn't a 4001 have 4 knobs? Might this be a 4000 SPC with Deluxe features, plus an extra pick-up?

There was a discussion when this first showed up that this bass may have had the neck pickup added, IIRC.
