Need A Case Measurement

Post by Tommy »

This site is very helpful, hoping someone can help me with this odd request.

Hoepfully Santa is bringing me a Ric related item. Well, I like to have everything in order and in place before the big day arrives. What I need is a measurement for something inside a new Rickencaker case. You know those pockets where you put your strap and strings and stuff? Well, I need the width and length in inches. I want to make little doors. I want to open my case and see nothing but beautiful guitar, not an assortment of junk. All cases have those doors on their compartments, I wonder why these cases do not.

If anyone can measure the length and width of those compartments I'd be thankful and can start working on those doors.
Thanks.

The compartments in one of my 360/370 cases, similar to the one shown, measure 10-5/8" by 4-15/16" and are about 1-1/2" deep.

Thanks a ton.
Now I can run out and buy some parts.
Once again, thank you.
