I remember the strip. It was called "They'll Do It Every Time." And it was usually a one panel gag drawn and written by Jimmy Hatlo. Hatlo died in 1963. I used to read it in the Oregon Statesman when I was a kid.

Hatlo created Little Iodine, too. Boy, I'm dating myself now ...

Good work, Ivan! That's a commendable thing you did for Craig. :) 8)

His mom is probably making him clean his room or do his homework or something............ he will likely show up soon enough. You can always tell when he's on the board because he normally posts in bunches.

Well done Ivan. I am sure Craig really appreciated your assistance.

We woulda heard about it if he did.

Seriously, Craig, I'm glad Ivan could help you out. He really does love this place and would give anything legal to get a 4001C64 or V63. What did he help you get? And what's a Hatlo Hat???

By the time next MARF rolls around, Ivan will be old enough where he doesn't need that much parental assisterance to go. Now you SoCal guys think, "Jake, you're 21 (next month!!!) and your mom goes with you to SCARF." That's cos my mama love me! :D Plus, she talks about the law with Paulie.
Glad you're looking out for him Jake; it's looking like the posting blitz that you used to heap on in a single sitting.

Can't be his homework... last time he wrote he was writing a paper. I thought his post didn't come close to the amount of words required by his teacher, you know. In my days you had to hand it in printed, these days you're even allowed to post your paper on a forum! How things change

At least we know he doesn't suffer writer's block.

Holy Geez...I guess I'm late to the party...no problem Craig BTW. I haven't done a "blitz" in a while because of schoolwork and homework, so I just noticed this! Pretty cool!
I've been posting in little bouts every once and a while, but school needs to be a little easier on me...Mainly calculus.
Once again, glad I could help, And I'll be more frequent as soon as school eases up on me! 8)
Here are some pictures of when I had it for a bit:

How's this look on me John?
I went to SamAsh then Rudy's in New York, and I played two Rick basses at Sam Ash, and This 360/12C63 at Rudy's (It was $3500USD - A little steep IMO) I had the oppurtunity to play a 620 and a 330 there, but my friends were hustleing me to get out, and I didn't want to bother the guy, He was really nice, and he was already doing me a huge favor letting me play it. The 2011 4003JG wasn't great, the 1976 4001 in white was better, but today I was rather impressed by the Guitar Aspect of RIC. I think it just didn't agree with me though (Thick neck...I shoot for pencil thin, thats why I like hofners so much), I've played this really nice mapleglo one there two years ago, and I loved that thing. Something tells me the setup wasn't great either because the guy plugged into the ROS output even though he had a mono chord going...Anyway, Here it is. I really thought the Red side dots were stunning as well. If I were to ever buy one though, I would throw an accent on there ASAP.
