I'll try to keep this short and sweet.
I really enjoy this place, I've met a number of really good people here and made some friendships that hopefully will last for the rest of my life.
Recently, Joey has resigned from being a Moderator. As most of you know, it is a THANKLESS job. Many of you even said so in another thread.
I was tapped to take over for Joey when he gave his resignation. While I'd love nothing more to be a helpful member here, that job is just too much for me to even attempt.
My wife has been very ill of late, requiring many hospital stays, and all that comes with it. I too have my own health issues that prevent me from spending too much time
doing what I love to do, read and contributing to this forum. I wish I had more to give. but I don't.
I personally called Joey and asked him NUMEROUS times to PLEASE reconsider his decision. He was adamant and very resolute.
After many conversations, I'm happy to report that we've come to an agreement that makes a WIN/WIN situation.
Joey has agreed to CO-MODERATE the forums. We will work as a TEAM. CJ will be helping as well.
More information will be forthcoming.
I personally wish to THANK Joey for his understanding and willingness to help me with this. It took a lot of guts for him to agree to come back after his announcement.
I called in a few BIG, personal favors. PLEASE make him feel at home. I owe him big time.
