Sorry, I don't know why I wrote string spacing, I was referring to the neck pickup spacing.
It does appear to have wider horizontal spacing too though!

Yes. The nut is wider than contemporary nuts. I like the wider, flatter feel.

That gives me some motivation to get my "lowly" 3000 in by the tree for some long over due pictures now that I have it mostly cleaned up.
