Alright, I weakened and opened the "Glass" box. Looks like a case.
Just a few more days, I open that case and I find out what Santa dropped off...

Argh! This is so exciting - it almost feels like I'm the one getting the Ric! Thanks for posting! :)

Well, probably the only other words that could be put on the shipping carton to have it handled carefully during shipment would be:
WILL EXPLODE IF MISHANDLED OR DROPPED!
But that might not go over so well with any courier.

Congrats and enjoy the new Rick.
The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Congrats on the new Rick.
And if it did, there would be some postal gorilla here in FL that would say "Well, wadda think? Should we see if they're bleffin'?"

Tom has to use his Fender XII while he waits for you to open your Christmas present.

Hmm, I just read in Bacon's Rickenbacker book where Petty says his favorite Ric 12 string moment is the intro to "The Waiting." And now he uses a Fender 12 on it? I tell you this, when I open that case that Santa delivered I will stay loyal to what's in it!

The Fender 12 lacks the sparkle and presence of the Rickenbacker, IMO ...

That video was '06 and the Fender was only for the first half of that tour. The remaining half was his '90 prototype 660/12TP.

Anyway, today's the day, we're finally gonna know!
