Man, this is a fantastic thread. Thanks for putting this up for those of us in other lands.

Bonus thanks for that other pic of V81, I've not seen that before.

Thanks IVAN !
When ever I pick up a Rick 12, thats always the first thing I play.

Another Pic:
How do you play it?

Try this ^^^...but a piano is really needed...
I'm in school right now so I can't watch the vid, but I used to play it like "The Buskers Method" Now I play it as an "F with a G on top" as george would say. Also it needs acoustic guitar (Same chord) and a high D on the bass. Along with a snare and a ride.

Someone had stated a while back that this guitar wired up with a dual-mono setup....since the jackplate says 'Ric-O Sound' on it the 'dual-mono' wiring myth was just that--a myth.

Well, I would wonder whether the factory would have had any dual jackplates that were not already silk-screened with the "Standard" and "RIC-O-Sound" labels. Just saying.

Gary, that could be, sure....I had thought that the screening was removed on guitars that had something other than 'standard' and 'Ric-O-Sound' with a few wipes of some acetone, but maybe not that early. YMMV..

Greg, you have permission to touch the guitars!   Looks more appropriate in the down position, anyway.

Roger McGuinn loved CM107, he looks like a little kid in a candy store here...

I wish I could find this in a larger size!
