Seriously, I want a good excuse to return this. My wife bought it for me for Christmas. Bridge PU doesn't work. And one thing baffles me, bridge is all the way down, as low as it can go. Neck seems straight. Intonation is good. Just never seen a bridge that low. Something's weird. Doesn't appear to have had a neck reset. I have three days to do a refund. It's a '65.

If you feel that it has issues beyond your willingness to deal with, by all means return it. That bridge would have me nervous, too. It's a beauty, but like so many of the old timers may need some work if it is to remain a good player. Welcome to Vintageland!

Well, now I have a '65 (360), '66 (360/12) and '67 (4005). I am blessed.

In light of my car accident and my father's stroke, guitars seems like a rather trivial pursuit at this point.

Try posting it in Paul W's corner of the forum. I'd go to him for more advice on how to deal with this.

All the same, it's a looker, Jerry! I am sorry to hear about your recent adversities, too. It will all work itself out in the end. How bad was the car wreck?

Oh, wow, Jerry. Sorry to hear about the car accident and your Dad's health.
All the best wishes for a full recovery for both of you.

Same here. Best wishes to you and your father. Congrats on the guitar anyway. I hope you'll enjoy it.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)
