Glad jwilli likes it!

He has trusted me 100% on this one and the first time he saw it was when he opened the case today.

The finish is a multi-layered prismatic paint that is very active in bright light, but looks like a sparkly red in low or fluorescent light.

There are no knobs on this one--but there are thumbwheels and mini-pots buried in the backplate.

The tuners are NOS Van Ghents supplied by John Hall specifically for this project.

Re: the TRC, RIC doesn't make a tortoise TRC, so this guitar got one similar to my 430.

Ivan, rein in your imagination a bit. There will be no tortoise at NAMM!

The paint on the front is a very subtle tiger stripe random motif with some pearl and iridescent pigments giving an unusual shadow burst. It presents an optical illusion to the viewer. Wiring schematic and functions are standard Rick with special miniature components and the 3-way switch in a new location on the bass horn...

Paul: Exquisite!

You didn't find it in a dumpster near the factory, right?

Paul, you're genius with the knobs! Somehow I wonder if you might be able to acomplish any dream we come up with, and then make it even better!

The paintwork, well, no words to describe it, just awesome! :D
