I just got a brief e-mail from Chris Squire agreeing to do the foreword for the book!!!

Paul, I forgot if you have a section on custom and non-factory finishes, such as your Mink 4001. Do you need any more submissions? I can get you some hi-res shots of my trans blue 4003S if you need them...

Congrats on getting Chris to write a foreword Paul. Now if we could only get him to come back and post on the RRF.

And then there is "forward" and "foreword" so afterward is silly, too.

Foreword is "fore" (from "before") and "word," meaning a preface.

Forward is the direction thing or an indication of the future: "Moving forward with our plans . . ." :)

Yet another reason I'll buy the book when it comes out. Chris Squire is why I own my 4001 (no disrespect to Sir Paul or any of the other fine Rick bass players). His sound and style were a major influence for me.
