Are any of you starting to think that there were significantly more than 50/60 Shadows made? They are coming up far to often to be that rare.

Nah, I don't think so....

I have documented 15...several of them are "repeaters" on the 'bay....

We knew about Geezers and we knew that JH has one and he did say that there may have been a few extras made...

I still think there are fewer than 50.....maybe WAY fewer.....

That doesn't sound so good for my chances of aquiring one someday.

I'd just like to know what the big attraction is to these big, square, ugly, Gibson type neck pickups that seem to make people want to put them on Rick basses???

Don't you know? Next to aluminum foil hats they are the best way to block the CIA's mind control waves.

Next thing you're gonna say is that flouride made the checkerboard binding go away. I happen to like foil hats, very trendy!
I was under the impression that someone here owned that bass, that thread has still got to be in the archives.

FWIW, a Dudepit forum member just scored a Shadow in the Boston area.

And on the tinfoil front, here's a site you won't want to miss: http://zapatopi.net/afdb.html
