We know quite a bit of this stuff already but an updated bit of detail wouldnt go amiss.
Also an interview with his roadie would shed a lot of light on the technical side and we could even get to look under the hood of his RM.

Right on, Pete! Please let them know about this thread and come to realize that they still have a chance to make a Chris Squire cover story in the future that we descerning CSfans will all appreciate, running the gamut from music making to detailed gear coverage including an in-depth scrutiny of "THE BASS". As far as I know, the British on-line magazine Guitar Interactive is also interested in doing a Chris Squire feature in 2012. So BGM needs to work very hard to make their Chris Squire issue very thourough, detailed, including lots of full-page pics, to do justice to their "The UK's Number One Bass Guitar Magazine" badge on every cover.

I've been a subscriber to BGM since 2009. Haven't received my copy yet as usual since it normally takes a month or two for a new issue to reach me. I'll probably get the 2012.01 issue in mid February. I can wait with patience since this CS article isn't esteemed very exciting by you guys.

I just subscribed after my post about doing it and my first issue showed up today in the mail. The CS issue #74. I was heading out the door when the mail came so I will get my chance to read it over my morning coffee. :D

"Guitar and Bass" Magazine is a better publication in my opinion.
There was a Chris Squire style section not long ago.
It was far better than the Bass guitar Magazine piece.
I might send them a prompt to see if they can get the lowdown.
Thats after I tell them off for describing Frank Allen's (Searchers) 72 (I think) 4001 JG as a "4001s".
Maybe Frank has a 4001s I need to find out!
Now to The Searchers forum...................................

Hmmm...I am stymied trying to find this mag locally. My Barnes & Noble doesn't have it on the shelf and they cannot tell me if they normally carry it because the Periodical Dude is "sick." "We have lots of magazines in the back but they won't be shelved until he is back..."
Great business plan, that!
Another shop that carries lots of mags doesn't carry it. One cannot access the magazine on-line without a fairly high on-line subscription or an outrageously high physical 'script.

So my question is: Is it worth the effort and cost? Does it have new info or is it just the same old same old?

Thanks!

Check out the New Chris Interview thread - the link there is to the article and it is the same one with the same pics.
