The mighty songstress has passed away just one day after the man who "discovered" her, Johnny Otis. Her unique voice and styling were the stuff of legends. RIP, Etta! :(

This is really sad news. She was one of my favourite female vocalists. Her powerful voice will always be in my memory's store. RIP Etta. :(
