Warranty Claim?

Post by Folkie »

I just took my 360/12 to the shop for a routine setup and mod, and my tech told me that there's a hump in the neck which is causing problems. He strongly suggested that I make a warranty claim with Rickenbacker. My guitar is a year old, so it's still covered. Does anyone know how long warranty repairs of this kind typically take? Could the fact that I've had the nut modified affect my warranty coverage?

I'd recommend contacting RIC Customer service since they are really the only ones who can answer that. I've heard that calling is sometimes more effective than email...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Take it from me, it is. You will probably be speaking with Richard Canata, a really nice guy.
