Cool! Hey, you might just get one from NAMM!

I have no idea, but I'm guessing the guys at RIC are smart enough not to show off something at NAMM that they know will produce orders without having a plan for getting at least some instruments into production pretty quickly...

CJ, RIC. RIC, CJ.

In fairness, CJ did say "at least some."

But Bob, you couldn't have picked a model with (IMHO) a longer wait!!! Well, maybe 381/12!!!

The Ruby bass is nice, but that mplglo Cii blows all of them out of the water, and im not a mplglo fan, but that one is absolutely gorgeous..

For sure, Jason! I was all set on a 360 - then I saw the 381.. ! I've e-mailed Chris Clayton to see if he can arrange it; maybe there's some NAMM inventory for quick sale.

I'm liking the JG 4004. Its very subtle. I know its not a new model, but it just looks striking.
Dane: A 4001 conversion would look fantastic on the ruby 4004 by the way!

It's certainly not a grumble to say that it's a great new color but I was hoping for checkerboard binding. The color won't get me to pry open my wallet but a Ruby with CB and I'd be on the phone tomorrow ordering. That or some new devious 4004 model.

I think it is nice to have them add a new color, but I don't see it as being negative against the posters of the pictures if someone says he/she was hoping for something different. NAMM is where dreams are made! Dream big, I say.

After seeing my Cii and pictures of that mapleglo, I don't understand why anyone would want ruby on a Cii (but, then again, I don't know why anyone would ever want a jetglo, either  ).

I do think it is a really nice solid color. It reminds me a little of the DCM with its depth.

Thanks everyone for posting all of these pictures for those of us who can't get there.

LOL I wish good brother, but between the two special run 4001C64 's the holidays and a couple of major home repairs in less than two months im tapped out right now and dont see getting a new bass till mid to late summer, but dont count me out ....lol that mplglo 4004Cii is absolutely gorgeous and thats just looking at it in the picture, to see it in the flesh would be even more appealling, if it gets shipped to POTR, and I see it mono a mono, well, who knows ?
