Better than where my brother lives, south of Reno, NV. They got evacuated due to a big wild fire yesterday (it didn't end up coming near then, thankfully). It's been so dry there, the place is literally burning up. Usually they've got a few feet of snow on the ground at their place this time of year...
Sorry to hear about your brother, I saw it on the news that there was a wildfire. Ever since I read the book "Code Orange" I've just been a bit more aware of whats going on in the world, forest fire wise.
Well, its 8:59 and not a grain of snow has fallen...????

My brother's fine. In fact, they were out at the time, heard about the mandatory evacuation, expecting road blocks, etc. but just went home with nobody stopping them. They kept a watch on things and were ready to go if necessary, but fortunately, it never came to that.

Oh,by the way Ivan, snow usually comes in "flakes" not "grains"...

It can come in grains though, but that's not the "nice" kind of snow...

We just came in from shoveling. Luckily it was about half of what was predicted.

Post some pics! I just saw my grandfather off as he travels back to Chile, and I was outside and took some pictures. I'll be posting them in no time!
