Yes it is, I think that maker is gonna get a surprise before the end of the show. There was another what I'd call infringer, but like I said, after the negative remarks, I'm not publicly sharing anymore NAMM show pics.IvanMunoz wrote:These Pictures are great!
Wouldn't that Rick looking mandolin thing be a copyright infringement?

I think the Richmond ones are a tasteful inspired by rickenbacker guitar. They have the German Rosemiesl Style Carve, with some serious mosrite in their as well. The headstock is close to. I think this one is just on the cusp of legality.fireglo67 wrote:rickenbrother wrote:Yes it is, I think that maker is gonna get a surprise before the end of the show. The mandolin is an INV made by Inyen Vina in vietnam. Blatant rip off.
I also think those Canadian Richmond models are a bit too close for comfort too.
Here are a couple of photos I made of the Richmond at the 2010 NAMM Show. It's okay Ivan, you can save these to your hard drive.IvanMunoz wrote:I think the Richmond ones are a tasteful inspired by rickenbacker guitar.
