YUCH!

It's 85 degrees here today. The screens are open, fresh air abounds. Dry & sunny, not a cloud in the sky.

You know better than that Jeff!

November-March is KILLER sweet. Low humidity, little if any rain, nothing but 75-80 degree days. THAT'S WHY!

So, just what do you consider to be "low humidity"??? We think it's gettin' pretty humid here in Montana when we reach 25%!

OK, it's 76% right now, but it's 34F and pouring rain...
:(

Hurricanes??? No thanks! I've lived where there are tornadoes, and I'll tell ya, a hurricane makes a tornado look like a party! I don't think all that nice (well, I'd call it HOT, too darned HOT) weather could ever make up for having to live with hurricanes...

Good point CJ,

Probably below 60% is great for my liking! Living on LI in NY and having weeks of SOLID 90%+ humidity...this is a walk in the park!

Yeah, the hurricanes are a factor. Especially since I'm on the East Coast and when they come ripping in off the ocean as a CAT 3, 4 or 5...we just run for the hills.
I always quote Monty Python and the Holy Grail.....RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And we get plenty of notice when they are on the way...unlike EARTHQUAKES, MUDSLIDES, Wind Storms, Fires...CA is beautiful, but not for this old gimp!

Tornado's frequently accompany hurricanes, we were hit a few times in my area. That is some scary stuff. They come and go quickly....unlike Hurricane Jean who freeloaded
on my area of FL for 53 hours. THAT wasn't fun.

Hey, there's Britton Hill, up on the Florida Gorgia border, a whopping 345 feet! Heck, I think it's further down than that to my lower pond...

And to think that I used to do day hikes that sometimes were over 3300' in elevation change! Not to mention many miles in length on top (sideways? ) of that.

My dad is into hikes. I go with him often.
There is this place called Glenonoko Falls that we go to often. It is very nice. I wish it had more rocks to climb on the path though. I love climbing things! Trees, Rocks, Walls, Ropes, you name it, I'll try it!
