Another new lurker...
Greetings to everyone. I'm one of these "lurker" types who has been hanging around for ages but haven't grown enough chutzpah to post, mainly because I don't know how much I can actually contribute. I thoroughly enjoy poking around here every day. I've learned tons from your posts, and I've especially loved watching the "project" threads for new info and pics (Ted & Adam, you guys ROCK). Most impressive!! Anyway, just wanted to give a formal introduction, say THANK YOU for making TRF such a *great* place for Ric lovers to exchange info, and to post a few pics of my Ric's. Thanks!!

Please do. I'm in the process of trying to "fix" the other pics of the 350 and the 4003 so they won't mislead. They're either too saturated or too dark. Photoshop is a good thing.
I've only had this 350 for a week but I love being able to play "I Call Your Name" and have it sound like John's spanky 325. Guess that's a topic for a different category...
Cheers

Thanks Spencer & thanks for the welcome guys. I think PM Blues has a 350MB in stock but who knows how long it will stick around. Took me ages to settle on the 350. I wanted a 330VP but when I actually played one I thought it was kinda heavy (light relative to some other guitars) like my 360 and I wanted something small and light like the 660. Now I am so pleased I went the 350 route. Just a great little guitar and in MB there are probably just a handful in the world. Hope you get one though. If only RIC offered it with checkered binding and full inlays like that Purpleglo Mark Hudson 350 or the 350SH...drroooooooolll

Sorry it took a while to post that picture here:
I know what you mean by getting the color right. I have posted a number of times on the problem I have with the red-sensitivity of my Olympus D400-Z. Here's one that shows a picture of a 4001 FG next to a 4001 WAL:

What a hot little guitar that 'SH is. Those inlays are just sick! Is that yours Gary? I have to say, though, I'm partial to the trapeze tailpiece.
That WAL is more "burst-y" than a lot of the WALs I've seen, almost AG in spray pattern but obviously different color. Really nice. My first Rick bass was in fact a 77 WAL!
Going to take some new, proper pics of the 4003MB and maybe post them this weekend in the Bass forum.
Cheers
