Where do the NAMM display instruments end up???

Post by Funky Chicken »

Do they get sent to a dealer? Do they end up on Ebay? Can you buy one?

I don't know all of the details, but I've heard that mostly they go to fill existing dealer orders...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

First the instruments go back to RIC to be inspected for any NAMM show attendee abuse. If/when they check out fine, they polish them up and fill dealer orders, like CJ said.

Well, that's a good thing, because I can always recall several skeevy people at the NAMM shows leaving gunk behind on the guitars from their grubby paws.
I guess the UV chamber cures more than just finishes! 8)

I have a 2010 NAMM 4004Cii FG. The grain in the two piece neck and body are the best I've seen in a RIC.
