2012 4003 headstock wings: still walnut?

Full widths and Walnut Wings all the reason I bought a 2010, could we see 1/2 inch Toaster, gap teeth and Checker binding next ?, although I think the introduction of later would be just too much for the factory, we can dream though.

yeah really...if they made some kind of '72 reissue bass I'd be ALL over it.

I just scored a mapleglo 4003 (2010) on eBay. Not too bad of a deal. I'll post pics when I get it. I'm jazzed about the specs on the recent years models.
the inlays, wings, etc. are steps in the right direction (which is backwards, of course!) I agree, I want to see a toaster in the neck! Then, all will be right with the world. But, hard to complain with these 4003 specs.
