Just got a call from RIC. My guitar is coming home. It seems something called a ground screw went south. So they replaced the whole pickup. How's that for customer service!

Uh.....no.

Now wait! Don't throw those rotten tomatoes and rock filled snowballs just yet. It didn't come to me in a flight case, and it was shipped first from California to Pennsylvania, then to me here in Kansas. I figure after a journey like that, it could survive a trip RIC and back.
