I did form a southern gospel/contemporary praise band locally , called "Joe Christian" about 1-1/2 years ago...

Two fantastic guitarist, a fine drummer and keyboard player , and myself on bass....these guys can really SING!! We have played quite a few local events and are just taking our time , developing our own "style" is very important and we all seem to be committed towards the same goals...it is my passion to get this up and running and expand beyond local stuff. We have a "chemistry" among us that is hard to find and people can see that....

There will be pics whenever we can get someone to take some quality photos at our events....nothing has been good enough to post yet...

I have a possible gig with a Christian band that is touring. If I am blessed to be able to do this, I will be playing my Ricks faithfully. I spoke with the guitarist yesterday and he and the band manager and I will be talking soon...He said that he wanted me to use the Ricks. I am so there!!! I need to get pics if I am on the gig. I may be close to some of you when I play with these guys. If so, I will give dates so we can meet..

Back to the Laredo.....I will probably get another sometime for "touring" as it is quite light and easy to handle and it SOUNDS great through a decent amp system....but it MUST be FIREGLO......

Jaymi,
If you find yourself here in the Tundra for sure I'd come see and you we can meet up, if you're in north PA it's not that far and I'd still drive to see you, and yes I'd bring fresh Lyle's as well !!!

I agree with Chris too ... nothing looks better than Fireglo, it's the only Rick colour you need !!!

The fireglo on that Laredo was brilliant with only a small "hole" in the back.... Image
It blended VERY nicely....

The one on the left was my 1st v63, the one on the right was a '74 4001 ....

All three went to the U.K., via Ebay....
