the strap is a randy strap hand made leather comes with a certificate, i asked dan at gak about it and he said rickenbacker are giving you this with the bass now, very nice touch.

that is awesome looking...love fireglo with the walnut headstock wings. I think a new FG 4003 will be my next Ric purchase down the line. I just got a new JG 4003 myself yesterday. Though mine is still in the box acclimating :(.

hi matt, hope you enjoy your jetglo as much as i am enjoying this fireglo, i can,t get over the workmanship on this 4003 , there isn not a flaw anywhere on the bass and i am a fussy ba*****. there is normally maybe just one thing not quite right , i have been so lucky with this one, i purchased it blind , something i have never done before and it has paid off big time, has your new 4003 got a fret booard like this one of mine the wood is just stunning. cheers george

I can't really tell you what it looks like since I also bought mine blind from an online retailer and it's still in it's box. It's brand new though so it should be pretty comparable to yours. Mine will definitely have the full width inlays. Hopefully I'll be as lucky as you and have a flawless bass but I've heard great things about the new 4003's being produced so I have confidence it'll be great barring some unforeseen shipping mishap :? .

hi matt, i was very lucky the guy at gak uk, had the decency to double box it for me , and i am glad he did as it arrived at my door with the corner bashed in, these couriers dont give a damm, it had hit the actual rickenbacker shipping carton, but luckily it didnt affect the ric hardcase, so i was nervous opening the case but all was well. i had a sleepless night worrying about it as its a lot of money and there was only one fireglo available, so not easy to replace should anything happen. it,s been worth the worry though , i just instantly fell in love with this bass it sounds amazing . enjoy yours too mate. cheers george

Yeah tell me about it. The bottom of my box is a little squished but I'm hoping that's only from standing the box up repeatedly. I'm a little nervous but it should be ok since it's not really that bad looking. Enjoy your FG George! I'm a little jealous to be honest
