Does anyone know if this is true??

Post by Ontario_RIC_fan »

From an ad for a 350 v63 on Ebay right now... http://www.rickresource.com/register/vi ... p?id=25053

"Rickenbacker guitars will always be associated with bands like The Beatles, Tom Petty and The Byrds helping those bands define their sound. Little known fact that hundreds of other famous people have looked at, held and even pointed at a Rickenbacker guitar. Names like Brad Pitt, Newt Gingrich, Donald Trump (he wanted one in gold), Demi Moore, Elle McPherson, Presidents Regan and Clinton and our favorite crazy man Charles Manson. So when you buy this guitar you will be part of the in crowd..."

With statements like that they should have to list their sources.

It seems like a fair statement. Manson probably saw one of Carl Wilson's Rics when he was hanging out with Dennis.
