Home built cabs

Post by ojobob2 »

Just thought you guys might like to see my latest creation!

Each cab is a front ported 1X15, loaded with a Celestion BL15-150 speaker. The Head is an Ashdown Electric Blue 180.

It think it came out good!ImageImage

yep ... that is a good basic design ... I really prefer the 2x10 cabs these days ... the ones I design have a little more air inside than most 2x10 then along with the ports they have a good low end response, but still plenty of mid punch and a high end bite ...

I use seat of the pants engineering ... no math ... I don't copy existing cabs but I do start from existing designs and make some changes and do some trial and error testing ...
