650c variant

Does anyone know if a 650c with a fingerboard other than maple has ever been manufactured? I think it would be pretty cool looking. :)

I recall seeing one a few years ago. I think it was Midnight Blue with a rosewood fingerboard.

I seem to recall a few with rosewood that were produced for the Japanese market.

I do recall seeing at least one on a Japanese collector's site and I believe John Williams may have had one once. I am thinking that JW's was Jetglo. Maybe if he can get away from his new 1958 325 project, he will post something.

Thanks for the info. I'd sure like to see a photo of one. :)
