Very sophisticated, Jason. I like it a lot. Nice vocal line and lyrics.

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

from the thread title,i was expecting a bit of in yo' face slap 'n' pop a la Jaymi, but instead got a nice smoky downbeat jazz-ish tune. Very nice,Jason!

That would be the bass. So what you need to listen for would be bass. Cheap computer speakers wont cut it. Thanks for the kind words all!

Thanks! The Steely vibe is due to the C/D, D/E, and G/A chords in the intro. Try "Crawling Out of Crystal City" for even more Dan-ness.

This sounds great! The intro in the begginning sounds like an old adult film intro if you get my drift. Its sounds so 70's! Classic, I really enjoy this one.

Yeah thanks for the the RIC bass model introduction. Sarcasm noted. :x I was looking for visual as well as audio representation of the 4002 "bass" so I was drawn to the video portion of the site. Nope, no 4002 being played on any of those video tracks. I did find the Columbia Heights link after searching a bit. Nice sounding bass although I would have rather been able to see it being payed as well as hear it, but that's just me.

Okay understood. Sorry if you thought I was being sarcastic. I didn't understand what you were getting at, my response was serious. I appreciate you taking the time to listen to my music and apologize for the confusion.

Jason I am glad I made it to the central part of U Street too. Absolutely excellent. I am sorry I did not notice this link before. A wonderful collection of songs. Columbia Heights is one of my favourites.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
