i was prompted to do just that by a similar question on another website,so i measured my 3 RIC's. surprisingly to me, my '04 cii, '04 laredo, and '74 4000 ALL have 1 and 11/16 nut widths. but all 3 of those necks feel different. (even the 2 from the same year!)
maybe it's different with CNC now, but the necks on RIC basses have always seemed to have a lot of subtle variations, which i love. keeps you questing..... :)

67.155.21.222/Rick_400x_Neck_Measurements.xls

I've found the old rrf.mcx.net isn't registered anymore.

Interesting. Running nslookup on rrf.mcx.net gives:

*** Unknown can't find rrf.mcx.net: Non-existent domain

But running nslookup on 67.155.21.222 gives:

Name: rrf.mcx.net
Address: 67.155.21.222
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

But DNS won't resolve ffr.mcx.net

That's what my daughter said.  She just went through the self-help checkout at a Kroger in Toledo and the first item she scanned was a bag of tortilla chips. The rest of the transaction was carried out in Spanish, automatically.
