Re: Tornadoes and foul weather
Yeah, I was thinking of Jim K and Dane W when the news report said Kansas was hit. Hope everyone made it through fine.
Re: Tornadoes and foul weather
Yeah, I heard Harveyville, KS was hit hard, that's only about 60 miles from Lawrence, where Jim K. lives. Dane's in that general area too. I hope they're both OK...johnallg wrote:Yeah, I was thinking of Jim K and Dane W when the news report said Kansas was hit. Hope everyone made it through fine.
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Yeah, I'm fine. I didn't even know about any tornadoes until I got a phone call from my mom this morning. All we had was a little bit of rain, lots of lightning, and some wind. I heard about Harveyville on the 3:00 news this afternoon. Thanks for the thoughts.

Good to hear! Yeah, in terms of a tornado, 60 miles is a huge distance... unless you're in it's path...

Glad you're okay, Jim! Geez, tornadoes already?!

The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS!

Glad to hear this, Jim.

Re: Tornadoes and foul weather
Yeah, it's a bit early, to be sure. But the truth is they can happen any time of year. The most usual time is the spring of the year, heaviest in May and June. But like earthquakes in California, you learn to deal with it. Just one of those things....rickenbrother wrote:Glad you're okay, Jim! Geez, tornadoes already?!

The school where I teach spent 90 minutes in the hall on Wednesday, as the tornado sirens kept going off. We're supposed to get another round coming through today.

Thanks. We got lucky in Louisville today. However, areas just north and south got hit. My wife has uncles in Henryville, IN, and thankfully they are ok, although the area is in various states of destruction.T.A.R. wrote:Good Luck Matt!
