RIHS wiring
I've taken a look through the "search" option and not found what I needed. What I need is a clear picture of the wiring coming out of the bottom of a RIHS. I wasn't sure where I should post this. I thought to ask bass players first. If it's in the wrong place I will gladly move it. Mark
Re: RIHS wiring
OK, is this good enough?
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
Re: RIHS wiring
CJJ, thank you very much. I am trying to sort out a strange phenom of my V63. Wiring issues in the past with my RIHS lead me to start with wiring. The red wire had been broken off of what is just a pool of solder. Reattached and works, but the bass has a unusual reverb tendency. If I play and hold a note like a high A, the open D,A and E ring in such a way as to cause this reverb/echoish effect. I need to get back out to the garage and see if both pups do it when soloed or if it is just the RIHS. Again thank you for the pic. Mark
Re: RIHS wiring
By the way Bro, I don't think my pup is wired like that. Let me a little more checking before I pull the pickguard off to see. Mark
Re: RIHS wiring
The pic I posted is of a brand new RIHS, just taken out of the package for the photo. So, that's what they look like now. I don't know if this matches older ones 'cause I've never seen one...

Re: RIHS wiring
The toaster doesn't seem to have that reverb like effect, but the RIHS does. I'm going to take this to the technical section and see what happens. Mark
