I thought it was an old horseshoe, at least from a steel with some guitar pickup in it. Turns out it's a reissue shoe, the toaster is new, as are the tuners and tailpiece. The only thing vintage is the body, which is drenched in spray paint.

Not sure what to do with her. I wanted the horseshoe to use for a 4000 bass project, but this won't do. My plan was to sell off the rest.

Looks like the body might have a couple of cracks and we know some routing but,It got those crushed pearl inlays and checkerboard binding on the back.

How would you remove the paint offa her?

Any ideas?

Offers on the parts?

The body?
