Re: Amp Question
Sorry - yes, the 4x10 is an HE.
Thanks for all the info, so far, guys! I appreciate it.
So, if I were to attempt the 8x10 sound with two 4x10s, the closest chance would be with two HEs, right? Stay away from the HLF if it's the fridge sound I'm after?
Thanks!

Re: Amp Question
correct.
I personally think you'll get pretty close with 2 - 4X10 HE's.

Re: Amp Question
With how he stated the sound and that he ran it with the 115, I assumed that also.jps wrote:Stefan does not state what models he has, so I am assuming the HE as he is comparing it to the 810.johnallg wrote:410 HE is sealed, 410 HLF is ported.jps wrote:I thought the 410HE was a sealed cabinet?

Re: Amp Question
nope ! found it in the garbage one evening going to the convenience store to get some milk near my previous rental house in buffalo. took it home, plugged it in ...worked perfectly. a little crackly on the volume control, but awsome tone !!! even had a vintage RCA cube mike with integral 1/4" cable in the back of it !!! (harmonica player ???)jps wrote:I like the two EV cabs, Ron.BAD RONBO, KiLLeR DWaRfS wrote:or this would work nicely...(sorry...had to do it, kev !)
Did you actually use that Premier amp as part of your rig?
