Interesting new product

Post by ilan »

Thumb rest for model 4003. No affiliation, just saw this on eBay and thought it was a neat idea.

+1, saw it too. Probably works pretty well...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Very nice idea. Too bad I don't rest my thumb anywhere near there.

Very cool! That's exactly where I keep my thumb. Need a longer one for a v63 guard though...

anyone could make one for their respective instruments, even out of wood...very easy to do.

Very cool idea!

I move my plucking hand around a lot to get the tones I need. I mostly play over the bridge pickup, which has the Tube Ampology deluxe pickup bezel with the thumbrest. But this would be great for playing closer to the neck!

I like it! I still haven't even gotten the bezel thing, but this looks like something that even I could install!

Nicely done. I rest my thumb there often as well, but have never had a problem with just the pickguard itself. To each his own!
