I just noticed that Bacon says in the caption to the picture that the JB prototype was built in 1992. It's nicely done, converted from a 1986 azureglo 610.
What's not right about it?
It's based on a 610, so it has 21 frets instead of 24, a thinner body with rounded edges, no tailpiece carve, a short raised-letter TRC that's been painted gold, and the bridge and pickup spacings are wrong. Its two Hi-Gain pickups were made in 1986 so they don't have the plastic bobbins. The switch tip is white plastic instead of chrome.

I think Larry Davis may have done that one. Wonder why the guy is selling it after going to the trouble of having it modded?
