Rickenbacker survives tornado!

Post by collin »

So, watch the video in the link below----this guy's house is leveled in a tornado and the only thing left unscathed is his 381v69

That's amazing! I saw that guy on the local news the day after the tornado and he said that he went in the basement when the storm hit. When it was over, he crawled up the stairs through the debris and had no injuries. His house appeared to have the most damage of any of the homes in the area. He said that he had just found the computer hard drive that all of his music was stored on and he seemed relieved about that.

I am also amazed that I didn't already know about his gorgeous 381V69. I thought I knew where all of the Fireglo Ricks in my area were located!

And the thing I really like about it, its a solid Vintage case and not the SKB case they use, I still stand by my preference of the silver solid built Vintage case over the SKB which I think is flimsy andf not solid enough to protect that guitar, and belive if it was in the SKB, it would have been destroyed, Thumbs up for the silver vintage case..

So awesome to see that guitar survive! Looks like there's no damage whatsoever! RIC should use this as an ad campaign like said above! Haha

X2 on the case. Not sure if the SKB would have been able to survive.
