Remaking The Horseshoe Bass Bobbin

Thank you for the warm words of you and many.

After all, I thought that I wanted you to hear the sound of my pickup bobbin which I made also from the meaning which returns the feeling of the gratitude to you.

For this reason, I edited a music movie at the first time after I was born.
Here is a tune is my original composition, all instruments performance and recording.
This time, part of Bass track(s) was re-recorded and remix did it again. Of course, I played my Ric RM1999 Reissue Bass installed an original Horseshoe pickup with that bobbin which I made.
Please use your good headphones or loud speakers for your reference and control the E.Q. if you need.



Since I was unfamiliar for creation of music movie, the completeness of sound and image quality is low, but please enjoy!

Koji, winding pickups, writing music, shooting videos.. is there no end to what you can do? Seriously, a pretty good video for a first go. The bass sounds great!

The bass sounds really great, Koji! So does the rest of the composition and recording, but it is nice to hear the bass so prominently in the mix.

I have found a useful online program called "PICKUP COIL ESTIMATOR".
For your reference: http://www.salvarsan.org/pickups/Coil_Estimator.html
It will calculate automatically, if the dimension of a bobbin(core) and the details of a wire are inputted.

My bobbin size(core) is,
Length: 2.244"
Width: 0.1969"
Height: 0.25"
Flange: 1"
