Manufacturing Date

Does anyone know when the first 4004L where shipped and what their serial #'s were? Hard to believe I have the earliest in the register.
'81 Walnut 4001; '95 Fireglo 4004L; '97 Maplego 4003;

Don't know for sure, but I'd say as early as late 1993? Earliest price list that I have to show the 4004L is July 1994. The earliest I have showing the 4004C Cheyenne is March 1993, but evidence suggests the 4004C in its RCA guise was produced in mid 1992.

IIRC, the Bass Player review article on both of them was sometime in 1993.
