Help me ID this lefty 4003 on ebay

Post by db906 »

All,

Please look at this listing and let me know what you think:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=4713&item=3757825589&rd=1

For me, the strange thing is that it looks like it lacks the body and neck binding; yet it has the triangle inlays on the neck. Do you suppose it's a copy?

I wrote the seller asking but haven't heard back yet and the acution is almost over.

Thanks for any help.

Strange.....a serial number would help, maybe it was a black trim one with the white parts replaced? Dunno...

There's binding there, it's just an exceptionally ****** pic.

That looks more like a glare than binding. Either way you need some better pics to make an educated decision.

Thanks for the input. I ended up not bidding on it mostly because I didn't hear back from the bidder on my questions.

Oops, I meant I didn't hear back from the seller...

Well, my search continues for the perfect lefty 4001 or 4003.

another vote for a refin. Look how dull the fret board appears to be. My Ric as well I'm sure as yours has a sprayed fret board. I think this is more than bad photography.
