67HEAVEN

Post by opticnerve »

Here's something that will turn an otherwise uneventful day into one a bit more special. :D

I recently found this (I should say it found me) here in NJ.

A hardly played (9.5 out of 10) all original, June 1967 4001 Deluxe...with super clean original silver case!!!

Enjoy!

Tony, special day? Oh my, make that a special year!
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Yes Peter, as the song goes..."it's been a very good year"!

Randy, this was a local, private sale.

The lightest walnut wings I've ever seen! And you can see that nice round fretboard radius a mile away. Beautiful specimen!

Oh yes, you have to go all the way with this! Good thing I didn't sell that set.

The crazy thing about this bass, well one of them, is that the finish hasn't ambered.

Check the color between the two pickup...and the area above the HS pu closeup.

I guess this can be considered a "case queen" or "under the bedder"...spent more time in it's case than out.
