Also, couldn't help but notice the 'reverse V' settings on his amps' graphic EQs! All hail mid freqs!

I guess that's what happens when you're used to playing bass through Marshall stacks.
What? Can you speak up, please?

Just watched it, and it was great! Thanks for the link!

Man, Ginger Baker is a mess. I thought he was very lucid on the Cream reunion dvd. Not so much in this documentary.

Is Eric a lot younger than Jack and Ginger? He sure looks it! Or are J & G getting old before their time?

Yep, Ginger is a mess. Doesn't look like he's going to be around for much longer.

Ginger is 72, Jack is 68, Eric turned 67 yesterday. They've all been through hard times, but Eric has definitely held up the best, physically.

I had a long conversation with the sound engineer who recorded the studio sessions shown in this documentary and he was full of praise for Jack - both for his musicianship and singing and also how great he was to work with. He did say, however that he has never been so intimidated in his whole life as when he had to sit mixing probably one of the most famous bass riffs of all time with the man himself sitting at the sound desk beside him. I only wish I had known the session was taking place as I would have been there like a flash. Mr. Bruce has been a hero of mine and a great inspiration to me since I first picked up a bass in the early 70s.

This is one of the best rock-legend vids I've seen in a long time.

Some great surprises toward the end, like how the lyrics for "Sunshine of Your Love" came to be.

If you haven't already seen it, watch the "Classic Albums" episode on "Disraeli Gears" (on dvd). Just amazing insight on the making of.

This JB doc was quite good I thought but how long can Jack and Ginger hold a grudge? Apparently forever. :?

I also noted the Fender 6-string bass on the wall! A little later her but I also very much enjoyed it. Thanks, Chris!
