Rickenbacker 620 Case size

Post by placebo62 »

Hi everyone,

I am new to the forum, so my apologies if my question has been asked 100 times before.

I am hoping to find the exact dimensions and weight for the standard rickenbacker case that comes with a Ric 620 or 660. - I hope someone can help out.

Thanks

Simon, I'll take measurements when I get home from work later today (Wednesday, Pacific Time Zone) and post the dimensions. I'll take one to work tomorrow to weight it, and then post the result.

The 620/660 hardshell (plastic) case's outside dimensions are 41-1/4" length by 15-1/4" width by 5-1/4" height.

How good are you!!

Thanks for that, I am trying to work out how much it will cost to ship a 620 to Australia and using these dimensions on the USPS site, it looks like I can get one shipped for around $90 USD. sweet

thanks again

You are most welcome, Simon, and welcome to the Forum!

By the way, the 620 weighed in at 7.95 lbs, but it's the one I have with three pickups, which might add a little extra weight to it:
