I guess I am to hope that being a 2 pc neck, that it wasn't made in 2009 correct? I am curious, are they all two piece necks now or no? I have a May 2011 JG 4003.... any idea what it would be? Funny how much of a newby I feel like when it comes to basses that I have loved all of my life....just not a lot of knowledge about them.

Indeed Ray....I am always about getting educated. I played my Ric again on my gig and man the guys in the band really do dig it. They say they love the bottom end but also the fact that they can hear the bass so clearly. I am simply running the Ric through a GK 800RB and a Goliath cab....pretty simple but it is so solid and just fits the tunes we play.

Thank you very much. I hope it is similar to the neck on my JG...I really do dig the way it plays.
