NEED SOME ADVICE PLEASE

I have an Ampeg B4R.....it is a great head.... regardless of what some of the Ampeg snobs on other sites might tell you. I do use it with an older Ampeg preamp but it sounds great by itself. I am running it bridged mono into a 4 ohm SWR 810 cab and that gives me the full 1400 watts. It has so many options and it is very powerful and this amp is not over rated when it comes to power trust me. The only down side is it is a friggin beast...it weights a ton. But I don't gig it. It sits in my house, racked on top of my 810 cab. I only take it out for larger outdoor gigs. And yes.....my Rics sound amazing through it. It is not an old school SVT, but doesn't cost as mush as one does either......but it is a great and powerful head with tons of options. I love mine.
